Seed Treatment with Beejamrutha

Composition:
a) Water 20 litres
b) Desi cow dung 5 kg
c) Desi cow urine 5 Litres
d) One handful of soil from the surface of field
e) Lime 50 grams

The above mixture termed as ‘Beejamnrutha’ can be used to treat seeds,
seedlings or any planting material. The planting material has to be simply
dipped in ‘Beejamrutha’ taken out and planted. Beejamrutha protects the
crop from harmful soil borne and seed borne pathogens during the initial
stages of germination and establishment.

Use of Beejamrutha:

20 liters of water can be used to prepare the seed production for the 100 kg seed.

And seed must Spread on the plastic sheet on the ground. And Sprinkle the Beejamrutha
on the surface of the seeds. Mix the seeds properly and make sure that all seeds are
spread with Beejamrut.

And seeds like pulses should be mix carefully, and therefore they should not rub them
hardly. Use your hands properly to mix seeds

Preparation time:
12-24 hours

Storage:
Use it to disinfect for the seeds. However, it can be kept for 7 days.

For best results use beejamritha to treat seeds before 48 hours or 2 days after preparation. If for some reason, you cannot use within two days, then store the beejamritha in shade and can use upto 7 days after preparation.

It is best to use desi cow dung and cow urine at any cost, for best efficacy of beejamritha solution. However, if you cannot procure the required quantity of desi cow dung and urine, then you can use 50% desi cow dung and urine, along with 50% dung and urine of desi bullock.
